How do you reduce the size of a picture that you are going to put in a e-mail. Sometimes it is just a small picture in the corner of the e-mail(which is what I want) and then sometimes it covers the whole page.

  1. ok a real simple basic way to do this is open up paint. open the picture u want to reduce the size of. edit. select all. on the bottom right corner u will be able to click and move the mouse to resize it to any size u want. after u do that click off the picture onto white section of paint. now again on the bottom right u see a little block u can resize also. drag that to the corner of ur picture u just resized so there is no more white showing, only picture. click file. save as. and thats it!

  2. An easier way to resize picture would be by using Ms-Paint.

    *Open a picture using Ms-paint.

    *Click "CTRL+W"

*And Resize the picture in the way you want.

*Then Press  "CTRL+A", "Right click on the

picture", go down to "Copy to" and click on it, Then  choose a folder you want to save the picture to.

*Pictures saved from ms-paint are usually in Bitmap format. So, Before you hit the save button. Choose JPEG  format for the picture on "Save type as", and hit the  save button.

You can also resize image online:
