If you're an individual doing business as some name, it only takes your signature.  If it's a corporation you will need to have a couple of officers sign off on it to get it in the company name.  Some states will require commercial plates and signage, so check on that.

In NC,  you can just have it registered in the company's name as long as the company name is on the title or you have documentation of your company .
