How to register a unregistered quater horse filly???

i have no papers, or no breeding cert i know her sire but not her dam but apparently both dam and sire are registered if i get a DNA test done will they be able to tell me who the dam and sire are?????

if it turns out that i cant register her what can i do with her in show means?

  1. Hi there, your filly may eligible for registration.  A DNA testing kit will be your best means of her breeding.  It will confirm her parentage 100%.  The  thing to do is go to the Australian Quarter Horse Assoc website (this is if you are in Australia) www.aqha.com.au

    It will have everyting you need to know and also there contact details so you can ring the assoc direct. you may be out of pocket around the $100 mark from memory for  the DNA kit.

    If it turns out your filly cant be registered you still maybe able to show her at Ag shows but deffiently no A, AA or B shows.
