How to register marriage in Gujarat, India? I am Indian marrying UK citizen , ceremony in India.?

How long will it take for the marriage which is already performed to get it registered in court?In Gujarat? We want our marriage certificate ASAP so that I can apply for UK Visa after marriage and later for PR. What documents we both require? Does anyone know any one who can assist with this legal process of getting our marriage registered in Court. Any help really appreciated. Thank you.

you must go to the UK commission to register first before the marriage,you said: marrying and # is already performed# which is what? are you married yet ?when are you going back to India or are you in the UK ?

Register the marriage at the Civil Registry Office of the city or town where your marriage was celebrated so that the corresponding documents will be issued.
