  1. You can't without installation CD. Unless you have a shadow backup. A pc can't boot without a boot CD or OS

  2. You can't do that,

    perform system restore.

  3. Did your XP come with a disc or did it automatically install when you bought your pc?

If already on your pc, you will need to reformat your pc and it will automatically install again due to it being stored on your hdd.  Always good to go to control panel and burn a backup cd.

If came with a disc, buy a new one, better yet, buy vista!

  4. i don't know i want to know my self cos i never got a disk with my computer so there must be away

  6. go into system restore under accesories and you should beable to reset you computer

  7. i just re-installed xp, and without the CD your toast...

if it was a registered copy, i would try calling microsoft support on the phone and see if they will ship you a new cd...

    good luck

  8. without cd?..magic i suppose.

  9. You can't. The only thing you could do that's similar to it is doing a system restore in "System Tools."

  10. Borrow a friend's cd. As long as you have your own licence number, you'll be fine.

  11. If you have a dell like me press and hold Ctrl + F11 when you turn the computer on.
