Question:

How to remind my father of something without sounding like an a-s-s?

A few months ago my dad promised me something big, provided that I accomplish a certain thing, which I did. The summer vacation is almost over and it doesn't seem like he has any plans to keep his promise. How do I bring it up without sounding like a little selfish brat? It either happens this summer vacation or it's not going to happen.

  1. How about, didn't you promise.....?  Or, are we/you still gonna....? Because we're running out of time.

  2. If it was a promise he made to you then you would not be being a selfish brat to bring the subject up as long as you handle it casually and not all pleading. If you casually bring it up like 'hey dad i just thought this morning about that thing....are we still on for that?' or something of the like.

  3. Be like "you know dad I did ...., so when do I get ......?"
