How to remove Mighty Putty?!

It worked great to hang a towel holder on the wall. But, something heavy fell at just the right spot and knocked the towel holder off the wall along with part of the wall. I need to remove Mighty Putty from the towel holder to re-hang (after I spackle and paint wall). How do I remove it?

Go on to the mighty putty website under the customer service tab and call the toll free number to ask them.  There are literally no instructions on the website as to how to remove it if you have to.

You'll need to chip/grind/and/or sand this off.  This is merely an epoxy putty. . . the exact same type of product that has been sold in home centers and hardwars for years.

Another piece of advice. Don't buy anything advertised and sold exclusively through TV commercials, especially products represented by Billy Mays. . . everything he sells is junk.
