How to remove Oil Based Paint from clothes?

Ive tried everything but nothing seems to work! Its white oil based paint stuck on a black jacket from 2006 , is there anything I can do to lift the paint out? thanks

  1. The best way to get oil based paint out of clothes is to get new clothes.  I have tried numerous things my self and nothing has worked.

  3. If the paint had dried then you are in trouble.  If the paint is still wet you can try turpentine, or even the paint stripper, then of course you will have to get the smell out of the clothes but that is another problem

  4. it's been there long enough to be a permanent fixture. You have three choices -

    1 - buy a new jacket

    2 - patch the area - this could look disgusting and be disastrous, but you could try.

    3 - get out the oil paints and splash the jacket all over with colour.  A new funky jacket.
