I ran a virus scan and found that i acquired a trojan vundo virus on my computer. Now I get all of the pop-ups on my computer and my anti-virus program (Trend Micro PC-Cillin) can't quarantine it. It tells me to delete the file manually and when I try to do so it say that it can't. Please help because these pop ups are getting on my nerves. Thanks

  1. Here is how you get rid of an undeletable file. Press ctrl alt del. Close all running programs and all non-essential processes. Go to shut down windows and while it's shutting down hold ctrl shift alt until a message box pops. When the message box pops up click cancel (Some versions of windows you can just go to task manager and kill explorer instead of shutting down and holding ctrl shift alt) . Then Go to cmd prompt and type "cd" next to cd enter the directory of the folder the virus is located in .Press enter. Now type "del /F" and next to the F enter the name of the virus file. Press enter and it will be gone forever.
