How to remove a plastic smell from plastic bottle?

I've got this plastic bottle from Fitness First (for drinking purpose) and i would like to use it as everyday but one time, when i used it the plastic smell still on it and it has taste too, what should i do to remove it? give me some suggestions please, i.e. do i have to keep it in a water for a couple of days with some lemon? or what? what should i do?

My mum always puts fresh lemons juice mixed with water into the bottle and lets it sit overnight. You may taste lemon for a few days, but that's better than vinegar!

Wash and dry it first then put it in the freezer for a day or so. I use this method with any plastic container that has retained its smell and it always works!! The smellier it is, the more time it needs.

Try rinsing it with some undiluted white vinegar.  Just swish it around in there.  Then rinse it well in clear water.  This worked for me.

Try using white vinegar and water. Fill it half way with half of

each, and let it stay overnight. Hopefully, it will take the smell

Water with salt should do the trick. Leave em there overnight.
