How to remove a poster/placard neatly?

There's this really pretty poster for a concert that's been stuck on pretty much every wall in my neighborhood. I'd like to unstick one neatly so that i can keep the poster. Any products/methods I could use to remove the glue without tearing any parts of the poster?

Any product that would disolve the glue will probably make the ink run.  It's a slow process, but I've recovered something gluded down with a heat gun and safety razor blade.  Good luck.
