A week ago ive discovered a wasps nest in a wall in my garden.

Ive fogged them twice with bugs spray but the kept coming.

Ive heard they don't like smoke so i shoved a petrol soaked cloth into their nest and lited it up and nothing! and i did it twice! but, they keep flying in in out..

We have kids running around and its not funny..

Can someone please suggest what to do?

  1. At night with a flashlight knock it down and stomp on it until it's flat at night they will not fly out and sting you leave the downed stomped nest and it will keep other wasps from building a nest they aren't dumb.

  2. These sites will help you find a solution to getting rid of the wasp nest. Good luck.

  3. you now can buy a foam you spray from a aerosol can you stand about 3 mrteres from the nest entance spray it in and it kills the wasps instantly always read the instructions on the tin

  4. A wasp\hornet nest will have many wasps\hornets that spend the night away from the nest because there is not enough room in the nest for all of them. As has been previously posted, use a flashlight to go out at night, but instead of destroying the nest, spray it down liberally with Malathion or another contact insecticide. The wasps\hornets in the nest will be killed immediately and when the other wasps\hornets return in the morning they will try to dry the nest by l*****g up the moisture, which will kill them because there is still insecticide present. You may have to repeat this process, but eventually you will kill them all.

  5. Think you have to physically remove the nest and they will stop.  Rent a bee suite?  Not sure if that is possible.  Here is a link to others with this experience.
