How to remove adware that keeps coming back?

Question

Recently I tried downloading this program called MAME. It's a video game sorta thing for your computer. The next day I realized that an adware, Windows XP Spyware has been added to my computer.

I don't want it to be on my computer so I deleted it.

Then the next time I log in to my computer it's back again. I've tried multiple times to remove it but it keeps coming back.

I don't know if it's the MAME program or not, but I deleted the MAME and the problem keeps reoccurring.

So can you please tell me how to delete this adware?

For any spyware problems, get SpyBot - Search and Destroy:

Also, for protecting your personal info and files, use Ad-Aware 2008 Free Edition:

Just boot into Safe Mode (Press F8 when turning on the computer) and run full scans.
