am.. the question is how to remove the antivirus! not a virus!

first, try going to the "control panel".. go to "add or remove programs" look for the program you want to remove...

or an easier but longer process, download a "uninstaller" and look for the program..

The easiest way to fix it is using Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware (Download it, update it, do a full scan, and remove everything it finds).

I would also recommend the following programs to make sure that you don't get infected again in the future:

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Avira AntiVir Personal

Spyware Doctor Starter Edition

Download an run the the following software, delete what ever they find should leave your PC free of infections:

Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Once you have removed it keep Avast and download Comodo Pro firewall, then switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE this should stop it returning. (links on my profile)
