  1. unfortunately if it was bleach it's not a stain but has damaged the finish and all the scrubbing in the world won't clean it - you'll need to "fix" the finish and doing that will depend on the size of the damage - if it's small spots you might be able to cover it with one of those stain pencils - but if it's a large spot you may have to refinish it

  2. Pour a little methylated spirit on the stain and light it. Let it burn for a few seconds then blow it out then buff it immediately with a soft non lint cloth, this will blend the surrounding lacquer or stain into the veneer

  3. Have a look on

  4. sand and revarnish

bleach 'dyes'' what it comes into contact with, so can't be scrubbed away

  5. You may have to get a professional furniture refinisher to help you fix it.  If it's veneer, you can't sand it too much or it will also wreck it.  Take a picture of the damage and contact a professional to see if you can get their help.  The bleach has probably only hurt the top portion and turned it milky?  Until you get it to a professional, trying rubbing a small bit of mayonnaise into the wood and leave it over night. That sometimes helps.

  6. I doubt very much anything can be done to restore bleach marks on veneered furniture?

If it is a special piece of furniture maybe a furniture restorer could do something ?
