How to remove broken tap drill stud easyout or extractor

If you have a broken tap, drill or extractor commonly called an "easy-out", the only to remove it is by spark eroding or edm.

Find a local engineering firm or engine re-conditioner who is willing to undertake such work which is not cheap, but is the only effective way.

Forget other recommendations, they usually create a greater problem.

dont use a drill, that will s***w it all up. easy way is use a cold chysel and ligh taps witha hammer to try to turn the tap back out of the hole. often u will end up breaking peaces off but that will help relieve the tension on the broken tap. DONT USE A DRILL
