How to remove dimples in sweaters?

I recently learned why you're not supposed to put sweaters on hanger. Is there any way to remove the dimples the hanger creates? I made the mistake of hanging them up and now I need to fix the problem. Please tell me it's possible.

  1. Just get the stretched spot wet with water, and blow dry with a hair dryer on hot setting. This works great for stretched cuffs and waistbands on sweaters....(

  2. We used to call those dipples "hanger nipples" LOL

Anyway, if you put a little water on the dimples when you put the sweater on, that usually works, though it takes a few minutes.  You can also just iron the shoulders of your sweater too.

  3. Try re-washing them.  Some sweaters you can put in the dryer, others you can't.  The sweaters you put in the dryer should go back to thier regular shape.  If your supposed to let your sweater air dry, put in in the dryer for like 5 min then take it out and let it air dry.  That should do the trick.  If not, well then you at least have clean sweaters.
