My hairdresser dyed my hair too warm for my liking, its turned out a warm honey blonde, i prefer it neutral if you get me. Its happened to me in the past and after a week or so of washing/wear and tare its faded into a shade i like. How do i hurry this process along, i have a wedding tomorrow and i don't want to have photos like this. Ive heard washing up liquid helps to hurry it up, if i deep condition after will this be OK? x

  1. You could try a clarifying shampoo. It can be really damaging to the hair compared to regular shampoo, but basically it strips anything on the outer layer off. You'll need to use it with a really good conditioner, I would suggest a deep conditioner. I have used it to fade hair color before.

  2. try whatever you can. ive heard washing up liquid, milk or lemon juice.

if you didnt like it you should have said to your hairdresser and they would have had ot make it lighter for free.

  3. If your hairdresser uses bleach, it's impossible.  If you have lighther blonde hair and she dyed it darker, I'd say keep washing it with a clarifying shampoo.  Good luck honey!  And congratualtions on getting married.  I'm sure you look gorgeous!

  4. I suggest changing your regular shampoo to a different shampoo that might pull some of the color out and make it more of the color your looking for. Please let me know how it turns out. I would like to know if my suggestion helped and you were happy with the color.
