How to remove history of the sites visited?

if u have i.e 7 you can look up to your right and see a sprocket(wheel) click on it and a box will pop up click on delete history and another box will pop up,click on it and all the websites you have visited will be deleted along with all the your history.

on my computer, in the top of the window, where it says, file edit view history bookmarks tools and help,  you click on the history button and press, "Show In Sidebar" then you click on the sites u want to delete, or the folder, such as "today" and press the delete button on the keyboard.
