How to remove mildrew from my baby's clothes.?

I didn't wash the milk off her clothing right away. now after mechine washed and dryer dried, I found out it has all the black dot mildrew on it. Is it safe to put it on my baby?

  1. I don't know if you'll be able to remove the stain - maybe soak it in a bucket with water and OxiClean for a day or so.  As far as safety, I don't think I'd hurt your baby to wear the clothing.


  2. Spray undiluted white distilled vinegar liberally onto the affected areas. Vinegar kills mold. Let it sit for several hours, ideally outside in the sun. Then, use warm, sudsy water (with 1/2 cup borax, if you have it) to wash it. Rinse it and let it dry in a clean, dry place.
