How to remove my cars tv safety devise so it woks when driving?

I have a volvo s60 2004 and I want to be able to keep the tv on when driving, this is obviously not for me as the driver, but for passengers to watch thanks fo your help

  1. It more than likely is controlled by the (BCM) and can not be by-passed because of the safety issue at hand, call Volvo and ask them if it is possible but at the same time it could effect your insurance as well.


  2. TV,  whether for your passengers or the driver in the next car,   as a distraction.   Also,  keep in mind that in some locations if the TB screen can be seen by the driver at all,  it is a violation.

  4. Former NBA player Eddie Griffin was watching p**n on the TV in the Escalade when he ran into a train and killed himself.  Thank God it was a train and not a family.  The devise is there for a reason.

  5. Many cars just need a parking brake switch added to fool the bcm into thinking the brake is on and some look at the park neutral switch. What ever your doing with the Navigation screen and it's dvd player may affect the map's programing then you will have to buy new soft wear and install DVD to make the navigation system work again.  Over the seat DVD players are so cheep these days and the back seat passengers can wear headphones.
