How to remove our name id from yahoo groups?

i have joined a group by mistake and i dont know how to get rid of it..everyday im getting unnecessary emails and pictures! plz help me?

Go to the group's  site, click on edit membership along the top.  In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out.  It may take a day to take effect.

if you leave via the unsubscribe e-mail, expect delays
