How to remove paid in full judgement on credit profile?

I had a judgement against me back in 2006, it was paid in full, but its shows on equfax report as judgement pain in full. the attorney that represented the plaintiff put together a satisfaction of judgement will that get it removed completely from my credit history

The only way to actually get it removed is to ask the credit card company to remove it.  If they refuse to remove it, you will have to wait until 2013, at the earliest, before it will drop off the credit report.  If it is not off of your credit report by 2016, then you can request the credit reporting agency to remove it.

    Bad credit information that is correct will remain on your credit report for 10 years.  However, it can drop off as soon as 7 years if the creditor does not remove it.
