How to remove paint from brick pavers?

  1. Our neighbour recently got tar on our pavers when he sealed his driveway.  He used muriatic acid to get it off, and it worked great.  Our pavers are a mix of red and grey undertones, and it didn't affect the colour of the blocks at all.

    Since you're just removing paint, you may want to dilute it at first to ensure it doesn't affect the integrity of the pavers.


  2. Try a powerwasher.

  3. try asatone...unsure of spelling it said...***-a-tone,

    if that dosnt work scrape the paint with a tonstine carbide scraper,

    may leave a slightly worn mark on the brick, id be then inclined to re-seal the effected areas,...all trace of paint must be removed

    or leave to weather.
