Some of its been painted and the paint is scratching off in some areas. Other parts just need cleanup of overspray and splatter. All needs new finish to seal and shine.

  1. At Lowes/Home Depot they sell a citrus, low odor, paint stripper that works real well.

Fill a tray, lay the tile in, wait 5-10 minutes, remove, and the paint should rinse off.  If it's stubborn just leave it in longer.

  2. Soy Gel stripper should work.  It is a little pricier than other types, but it is low VOC, almost odorless, stays where you put it and really works well.  I would remove it and the loosened paint using nylon scrubbing pads to avoid scratching the tiles.
