How to remove pencil marks from laminate wood?

My son has scribbled ALL OVER his cheap laminate desk in his bedroom, he or his friends, doesnt change how awful it looks. It is just laminate wood but I want to clean it up without damaging it. ANy ideas on what to use to get the pencil marks off? TIA

I ditto the Magic Eraser suggestion!  That stuff is a miracle for Moms with kids who crayon on the walls (been there!)  & I imagine it should take off pencil marks too.  Good luck!

WD-40  spray it on a rag wipe it off,

Mr. Clean magic eraser works like a charm! My niece loves to write with crayon, on the walls, on the floor, on marble, and I swear by it!
