  1. i dont understand...what toolbar is starting up??

to disable a program from startup

go to run and type msconfig

click the start up tab then uncheck the programs you dont want to start when windows starts

  2. This is different for different versions of windows.

Generally, you have to find a folder called 'start up programs.'  Then just delete the files from that folder of programs you don't want to run.

I would also recommend the program WinPatrol.  This stops unauthorized programs from adding themselves to your start up programs.  It's also much easier to delete programs from the start up menu with this program.

  3. Go to start - RUN - Type MSCONFIG and press enter

Go to STARTUP tab, look for limewire on the list, and uncheck it!

  4. Start - Control Panel - Add or remove programs

    Vista - Uninstall a program

Choose the program then click uninstall.

  5. Start the program you want to change, go to the options or settings tab and unclick where it says run on start up.  Be sure to save the settings if it asks you to. Some programs have the options under tools, others under settings.
