How to remove "Autorun.inf" virus

I had Mcafee and AVG installed in my systems, Both detect autorun.inf virus but it is not cleaned by this. please help how to remove this virus

if you want to stop the autorun from coming back

after you delete the file using the method mention by the above answerer.

either

you diable autorun in the registry

or

You create a NEW FOLDER (not file) call "autorun.inf" at all your drives.

eg.

c:\autorun.inf

d:\autorun.inf

e:\autorun.inf

f:\autorun.inf

g:\autorun.inf

u can remove it with nero?????

just select "create data disk "

then select disk drives . You can find autorun.inf , that will be visible on nero, delete it manually from all drives(use shift+delete), then restart ur system

try getin a linux live cd (www.ubuntu.com) pop the cd in while ur comp reboots, clean out the flsh drive and copy the files u need

Run cmd

c:\>attrib -r -s -h autorun.inf

c:\>del autorun.inf

if you have d drive, do the same

c:\>d:

d:\>attrib -r -s -h autorun.inf

d:\>del autorun.inf
