  1. olive oil or beer........Take 6 or 7 beers (bottles) open all of them and then quickly drink all of them and accept your ring has to be cut off

don't drink the d**n  olive oil...... chill it and pour it on your finger it will cause the swelling to go down and slide off or if ya drank the beer you won't care one way or the other.

  2. run your fingers under cold water for a  while. We all know heat causes things to expand, so if you think about it, cold compresses things, correct? right! so it should come off in a jiffy. if it doesnt, apply soap or oil while your hands are still cold and your fingers are smaller.

    good luck!

  3. Try to use some baby oil or a water based lubricant (KY Jelly; it has many uses : ) )

  4. stick your finger in your mouth and try getting the ring off using your mouth.. the more wet your finger is.. the easier it is to get it off.

  5. Suggestion:

Keep off salt for a few days, or even a week: watch it carefully. Don't dehydrate yourself, but watch fluid intake.

Cool ice water soak as long as you can stand it to reduce swelling.

Elevate hand above head for a while gets blood and fluid to drain down.

Then try a slippery oil/string thing.

  6. Use cold water with soap are vegetable oil. it works perfect.

  7. Yes... according to TotalGoo... The string method is the best. I work in a urgent care and we do it all the time, we also have ring cutters too. Try the string method you wont be disappointed :o)

  8. My Nanna dislocated her finger while filming for a TV show.

They tried everything, but couldn't get it off and in the end she had to have it cut.

They had it welded back together again though and you can hardly tell.

  9. ~~Soak your hand in ice water (not too much ice or it hurts) for 15 minutes. Then rub your finger well with some type of cooking oil. The ring will slip right off.~~

  10. Wiggle the ring back and forth instead of trying to pull it straight off.

Elevate the hand above the head for a few minutes to encourage reduced blood flow and decrease the finger size.

Soak the hand in cold water to restrict circulation, and keep the hand wet when attempting to remove the ring.

Use water as a lubricant to ease the ring off, or opt for body wash or soap for an extra slippery surface.

Relax the hand before attempting to loosen stuck rings; tight muscles bunch up and will make removing the ring more difficult.

If two rings are worn on the same finger but are not soldered together, try removing one ring at a time instead of both.

Adding cold ice or water and elevating will also reduce swelling

    Hope I helped :D
