How to remove shift k**b?

How do I remove my automatic shift k**b in my 2006 Nissan Sentra? I want to put a different on on. Thanks.

as the first guy says pull the shifter back and look in front of the k**b and you will probably see a horshoe type clip that pulls out and then the k**b will come off.

Odds are it has a clip or possibly a retaining mechanism in front of the shift k**b (facing the dash) Put the shifter back as far as it will go and take a look.
