  1. Open all the windows - light as many candles as you can (yeah, in July!)  . . .but please please no Febreeze -that stuff stinks worse than the skunk!  There are other sprays to take odors out of the air, not "cover" them.  So something like that might help.  But the main thing is fresh air, and that will take probably a few days.

  2. You could shampoo all your fabrics in tomatoe juice. Haha, Just kidding. Umm, but really you should prolly steam clean most of your fabrics, wash all the bedding, slipcovers, curtains, and pillows, open the windows for the majority of the day, find an air spray of your preference that actually attacks the source of the smell, not masks it, and cook somethings that smells really good.

  3. You need to find out if there is a company where you live that cleans up after a fire or flood. They are able to remove bad odors. I don't know what products they use but maybe they could suggest something for you . Did the dog rub up against the furniture?  Have you given the dog a bath? Maybe you are still smelling him. There isn't much out there that smells as bad as a skunk. And that smell can stay with you. Good luck.

  4. Get a cat to p**s all over the house. Then everything will smell that instead.

jk. I don't think there is anything you can do for the HOUSE. I know there are ways to help people have been sprayed, but when the smell is in fabric and wood its another story. I recomend buying a **** load of Febreeze and just letting time take the smell away.
