So I let my friend borrow my shoes and she had the wrench but then she lost it and gave me back the shoes. I want to take the spikes out but I can't because I don't have the wrench. Are there any other ways of getting the spikes out? They're not dull or anything yet.

  1. Despite what people think, you can take them out without the wrench.

Trying using pliars (don't yank them out though).  Use them to get a string grip on the pin then just s***w them out like you would with the wrench.

  2. Oh my goodness I just lost mine too! I left it at my last track meet. You actually can't take them out without the wrench. sorry but if you go on ebay I am almost positive you will find one! I am not sure if you can buy them seperate from the shoe but you might.byeee

  3. use a tool wrench or pliers to grip the spike and twist it lose. Make sure you have a strong grip on the spike or when you turn you will strip the notches on the spike making it impossible to get out even with a shoe wrench.  If you go to a running store you can probably buy one your they will give you and extra
