How to remove spots on fatboy wheels ?

Question

you can see small dark spots but cannot feel them.looks dirty.what will take them off without hurting the finish or clear coat on the wheel

Those are polished aluminum, and not clear coated. Use Mothers Mag Polish or wadding cloth made for bare aluminum. Follow it with a good cleaner/wax, and don't use any harsh chemicals to clean them!

I've had excellant results with Never Dull. available at most auto parts and motorcycle stores.

If they are clear coated, use a polish for automotive paint. If they're polished bare aluminum, use Mother's aluminum polish.

Not too sure about clear coat, but WD40 will remove most spots on metal and paint. I have used it to remove bugs and tree sap from my paint, and melted plastic from my pipes.
