Try Brown sauce, its truly amazing.

I moved into an old house which had a brass fender round the fire, which was really badly tarnished, and my brother read somewhere to use Brown sauce.

I laughed at this, but tried it, so I could prove him wrong, but, it worked brilliantly!!

There  are products at lowes, home depot and walmrt..........brasso for the brass and silver tarnish for the silver.............

you can use any silver shiner to clean it, but if these stains are caused by chlorine, it cannot be cleaned.
