  1. I'd say white vinegar or alcohol

  2. Try rubbing alcohol on a rag.  Just do not rub the wall too hard.

  3. De-Solvit.  It is a liquid (much like goo-gone) but has worked better and done less damage on my projects.  It is available in most grocery, drug, discount (i.e. Walmart, Target, etc.), and DIY centers.

Just follow instructions, make sure to let it sit for a bit before you try getting the tape glue off.  (Since you're working on a vertical surface, avoid runs by just putting a few drops on a rag and dabbing at the areas.)

If necessary, use a plastic scraper to remove the glue.  (metal ones can cause damage to the walls too easily.).

(This works great for removing bumper stickers, stickers kids tend to put everywhere, etc.)

    Good luck.

  4. Goo-Gone

I have three kids and have used it for many, many messes including and not limited too non-washable crayon, pens, marker, tape, label goo, black "gunk" on the floor, and gum.

other things you can try. Dawn, vinagar, nail polish remover (not too good for paint).

  5. Hair dryer on med. heat.  Rub the spot as you're blowing it and it should come right off.

  6. goo-gone!

    its amazing
