How to remove super glue from synthetic clothes. specially from kitchen things?

  1. Ugh... well, it may not be possible.

    The problem is that synthetic fibers can be chemically altered by either the glue, or certainly any solvent used to remove the glue.  Most super glue removers contain acetone (as do most nail polish removers), and using acetone on a synthetic fiber can result in a 'bleach' stain at best, or dissolving the fibers, at worst.

    In this case, I would probably try freezing the material.  Then fold it (once) and try rolling the fold crease so that it moves across the glue.  Hopefully, you can get the glue to flake off this way, without damaging the material.  You can buy a 'cold spray' anywhere first aid supplies are sold.  I've used it to remove wax, gum, and glue... as well as in first aid, hehehe.  You'll find it is easier to 'roll the crease' if you use a 'spot' freezer like the cold spray, rather than putting the entire item in a kitchen freezer (which would make it VERY stiff)
