I was attaching a very delicate clip to a circuit, and thought it would be a good idea to attach it with superglue, however when the glue dried it pushed the clip up and unattached some of the connections-- is there a way i can remove the glue without damaging the metal connections and plastic clip?

  1. There is a super glue remover available on the market.  I've used it and it works very well.  In your case, I'd apply with a toothpick or pin, etc and dab a buble on the necessary spot.  It will soften and then you can dab away with a cotton swab or something similar.

    good luck

  2. Sorry my friend, you have buggered it up but good. The substrate is coming apart and you will be unable to remove the clip without damaging the CB wiring. Try to minimizing the damage and wire around it with bell wire and CB solder paste. Then pray it is not a 3D board. If it is, it is scrap now.

  3. Fingernail polish remover, but I'm not sure what that will do to the plastic.
