How to remove super glue from phone?

I added rhinestones to my phone and used super glue. I took the rhinestones off and I'm now left with dry glue. Is there anything I can do to remove the dry glue without damaging the phone too much? I've seen some videos where they suggest nail polish remover with acetone but these videos do not demonstrate anything with a surface like my phone's. Is it smart to use acetone?

nail polish remover is what works best with super glue. use it on a small spot to make sure it won't ruin your phone. other than that you can try...

Super glue (cyanoacrylate) is actually water soluble so if you have the time use water. After all water is the greatest solvent out there. i heard super glue was developed for sticking wounds together in Vietnam. Not quite sure how true that is though. If it is a mobile phone try removing the case and putting it in the freezer for 20 minutes and the glue may chip off.
