  1. Step 1 - Learn about the different procedures available for tattoo removal, including surgery, laser treatment and skin-peeling methods.

Step 2 - Plan to spend much more money having the tattoo removed than you spent getting it.

Step 3 - Identify your concerns about discomfort and the appearance of the treated area after the tattoo has been removed.

Step 4 - Consult one or more board-certified dermatologists or cosmetic surgeons to discuss the best removal options considering the size and location of your tattoo, your skin type and any other unique issues.

TIPS - Look for a sensitive and experienced dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon. Get referrals and information from people who have had tattoos removed. You may need more than one doctor's visit for treatment to successfully remove your tattoo.

WARNINGS - Scars or other traces of the tattoo, such as skin discoloration, may remain after it has been removed.

    I hope I helped ... Good luck.

  2. surgery is the only way.  the tattoo is "painted" onto all of the layers of your skin to give it the look that you paid for.  If it was just on the top layer it would peel off quickly.  Suggest a good dermatologist who should have you see a plastic surgeon...../

  3. My father took a sigaret and burned it down to his skin.. and theres a mark left.. :P Oke that's a painful way.. but other way is..you can don't remove it and put some foundation on it :D

  4. laser treatments are pretty much your only option. Creams and such do NOT work because the ink is under the skin and the cream cannot get deep enough to penetrate the ink.

If you're just tired of that specific tattoo or it's faded or wasn't done well, you can go to a tattoo artist and ask them if you can get a coverup. This is a much less expensive and less painful option compared to laser removal.

  6. I had a tattoo removed from my arm by a plastic surgeon,it is called laser treatments. I had 10 treatments it cost me $4000 and is very painful. As time goes by you can see it less and less, the sun helps fade it to. Red, Black, and Yellow are the hardest colors to get out of your skin and of course those were my colors! Depending on how big your tattoo is and the colors will give you an idea on what your looking  to pay. The less colors you have the cheaper and easier it will be for you. I think if you can live with it I really recommend keeping it, you will save a ton of money in the long run,but if you can't I would find a great plastic surgeon that won't scare your skin! Good luck I hope this helps?

  7. grab a knife and skin it off

    good luck
