How to remove the song from the video ?

how to remove the song from the video ?

because i want to import video on movie maker

and i have to remove the song cuz i want to put another song

i think quicktime might be able to do something like this.  just encode it to something (.avi) with no audio (you should be able to select that in the encoding options).

You don't have to remove the Background music from the video. ^_^



Follow these steps:

1.Import the video into movie maker.

2.Drag the video clip into storyboard.

3.Switch to timeline view.(The button is located right over the storyboard).

4.In the timeline view,you'll notice a wide white line just below the clip. It denotes the Background music(BGM) attached to that clip.

5.Right click on the line, ---> click the option "mute".

6.You'll now notice that the BGM of that respective clip has been switched off. Import a different music into wmm(windows movie maker), then drag and drop it on the video clip(overlapping can be adjusted in the timeline view). You'll see that now the video clip is using the music you've imported into the storyboard as its BGM.

You can also choose the option "del" to completely erase the song from the vid.
