How to remove the steering wheel on a 1996 Club Car golf cart. ?

I have removed the cover, and unscrewed the bolt, but the wheel is pressed into the shaft, like a car's steering wheel I tried to use an auto. steering wheel puller,however: because it is plastic there is no place to s***w the bolts to the steering wheel. Is there another way?

If you will use it in future, take the cart to golf shop for help. If not, destroy it.

You take out your 5 iron and beat the steering wheel until it comes of.

Thats what a golfer would do!
