I have a lunch box I would like to use and I don't know how to get rid of the stickiness it has formed over the years it was place in an half open cabinet in my kitchen forever...I heard that I shouldn't use a thinner b/c it will ruin the plastic so do not say it unless you can prove it wrong. thx.

  1. soak it in hot water with dishliquid in it.

  2. I say use Goo Gone. Might also try Dawn Power Dissolve and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for any stains. (I sould like a Proctor and Gamble ad :). The Goo Gone has an orangy smell to it, and I usually find it in hardware stores or in the auto section of Walmart. Both should be good at getting the sticky out, but make sure to wash the lunch box with warm, soapy water and rinse well after you've gotten the gunk out.

    Happy cleaning!

  3. use the lemon to clean because it has citric acid.

step1 soak the lunch box in hot water for 2 min

step2 clean the stickinesss using lemon

now you can use your lunch box

  4. Buy Goof-Off. It works really good for that sort of stuff.

  5. OMG YUCK THAT DISGUSTING

why would it even be their in the first place

well if u want to get it off you need to use 'easy off BAM'

make sure u use hot water

  6. simplegreen

  7. For a less expensive way to clean this lunchbox you can use Undiluted White Vinegar just pour some in wipe all around and leave on for a few hours then rinse off in hot water and dry Good Luck !
