  1. There is a product called  Enzyme T  which should do the job with no problem.  It is sold by the Tesch Chemical Company in Manasha, Wisconsin - phone number  (800) 822-7331 .  It is safe to use on fabrics and carpets because it is enzyme based (no harsh chemicals).

The enzymes eat the urine and salts that are in the stained area and once it's dry the odor should be gone.  We had a stain in our office left by the owner's puppy the other day, we put the Enzyme T on it, and now we don't even notice it was ever there (and the puppy is not drawn back to the spot to create another accident).

After the Enzyme T is sprayed/poured on area you can add a towel on top of to wick the stain up into the towel (which can then be washed in the laundry). The area would have to be treated for 12-24 hours to remove the urine completely (needs to be moist and covered with plastic to keep the enzymes alive and working).

I have talked to quite a few other pet owners who have used this product and many of them prefer it to the other products out on the market today, including Natures Miracle.  Here is the info from the Tesch website  ( http://tinyurl.com/63q7ww ) :

Description:  Enzyme "T" Odor Remover removes both old and new odors resulting from organic and inorganic soils and waste such as odors from food, pets, pet accidents, urine, vomit, mildew, sewage backup or perspiration. For use on fabrics, upholstery, drapes tile, grout, vinyl, sealed wood, concrete and other water safe surfaces.

    Hope this helps.

  2. place cat liter on spot and let set, change ( you need to get down and smell) meaning down pass the carpet to the padding once there spray as instructed if to many spots you know what to do R W Jones here.?

  3. If the color of the run has changed then you might not be able to get that stain out but you can get the odor out by using apple cider vinegar onto the area. If you want to try to get the stain out try Zep 505 this is sold at Home Depot it won't harm you or your pets. Just pour it onto the stain rub in then use your carpet cleaner machine to remove the the stain.

  4. Urine is almost impossible to get out.

    Have it proffesionally cleaned.

Problem is urine will go through the carpet into the pad.

Could call a carpet guy to cut the carpet & pad out & seam in a new peice from a closet.

  5. Go to a pet store and look for Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution.

  6. If urine was not cleaned immediately or has been a repetitive problem it has more than likely soaked into the flooring under the carpeting. There are many good products for getting the odor and stain out of the carpet but you should also pull the carpet up and clean with bleach and detergent or replace flooring underneath depending on the severity of the damage.
