  1. If you are sure that it has virus... Get it scanned and get virus removed by an Anti Virus software like Norton Anti Virus.

You can get any other anti virus free from any site like

    www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/soluti...

  2. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  3. dont use norton antivirus it will surely not gonna remove any of ur viruses....

    use AVG or macaffee

  4. sometimes it happens try to format ur drive in safe mode

    here is the procedure

If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power

Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.

Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.

Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected.

Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

When you are finished with formatting, close all programs and restart the computer as you normally would.

    hope this'll do for u:)

  5. Your Answer:

If your computer had been affected with virus then formatting your pen drive with that sysem wont be that much affective....

So scan your pen drive with other computer which is not affected with virus and formet it in that system......

Download any anti virus software from net and installed that to your system.....

  6. scan your pendrive from a very good antivirus - like norton 360 or something like that.. be sure to scan it before u open ur pendrive

  7. Open the Command Prompt by typing ‘cmd‘ in the run box. In the command prompt type the drive letter: and press enter . Now type dir /w/a and press enter.

This will display a list of the files in the pen drive. Check whether the following files are there or not

    Autorun.inf

    Ravmon.exe

    New Folder.exe

    svchost.exe

    Heap41a

or any other exe file which may be suspicious.

If any of the above files are there, then probably the USB drive is infected. In command prompt type attrib -r -a -s -h *.* and press enter. This will remove the Read Only, Archive, System and hidden file attribute from all the files. Now just delete the files using the command del filename. example del Ravmon.exe. Delete all the files that are suspicious. To be on a safer side, just scan the USB drive with an anti virus program to check whether it is free of virus or not. Now remove the drive and plug it again. In most of the cases, the real culprit turns out to be the “Autorun.inf” file which mostly gets executed when someone clicks Ok in the dialog window which appears above. Thus the infections can spread
