How to renew a visa?

My boyfriend is from Ireland, he is currently in CA for school purposes. I am in FL. His visa expires in the beginning of April and I'm wondering if there is a way for him to apply for a holiday visa without having to go back to Ireland so he can come and visit me for a little while. Does anyone have any idea about this?

Yes my hubby recently just applied for a visa and his is garanteed for 6 months...!!!!

With visa's if they run out you should contact the embassy who provided the visa application to your boyfriend and then say to them that it expire's and you was wondering if there is any thing else you can do to keep him a while longer they should than give you a visa for 6 months,

Also after he has stayed for 6 months he can get a job without the embassy on you back and then they can't do nothing about it because he is working in a province state and they are not at law to kick him out...!!!!

Believe me on this because my hubby had a visa for 3 weeks now they gave him for 6 months and now he has a job and they said if he keep's to that job than he can stay forever with me, but we have back-up we are married and have 1 babie of 2 months old so...!!!!!

Thats another way how you can keep your boyfriend with you consider of getting engaged or pretend you are engaged and than he can apply for a longer fee and it is actually garanteed =)

And anyway if you got a passport why don't you make a long term flight to stay with him in ireland,

I did that all the time with my hubby to macedonia =)

My boyfriends brother is over MO studying....hes there about 7 years now - hes Irish..but he organises his visa from over there, he has recently just renewed it...has he asked the school about it?
