How to repair a cracked iPod touch screen?

I alredy sent it in to the apple repair service but they won't do any thing

  1. There's a huge cottage industry of aftermarket replacement screens and batteries. At this point, there's now plenty of people hawking iPod Touch model screens, and some even promise to do the repair for you. THis sounds like just the ticket, but I'd note that Apple may have declined to repair your unit because something else may have been damaged when you broke your screen. In particular, I wonder if you did not fracture your motherboard or unhing a cold solder joint or two.

  3. the reason Apple won't replace the screen is because when LCD screens crack, the liquid can get into the other components of the Ipod and require the entire device to be replaced, therefore it's not covered under the warranty due to excessive damage. you can find repair places on the internet however if another part is damaged by the liquid crystal then there is a good chance that the ipod may not work when you receive it.    

  4. Unfortunately, all you can do now is get a new one.
