How to repair a windsurfing sail ( a small hole in the sail)?

  1. Sail repair tape will be best as you will not see the repair unless up close. This apparently is only heavy duty Sellotape available from B&Q etc. Some people use duck tape although I reckon carpet tape has more stickiness to it.


  2. Sew a patch over it, just make sure its the right fabric, or take it to a sail maker,

  3. Sail repair tape.  It is stickicky, just stick on a patch.  Make sure you lay the panel out flat before trying to apply the sail repair tape.  

    You can stitch it too with zig zag stitch if you want, but that should not be nessecary with a small hole, and you run the risk of puckering the sail or creating wrinkles.
