How to repair acid damage from leather sofa?

My 2 yr. old accidentally peed on our leather sofa (beige colour) and the acid in urine damaged the upper polish leaving a small patch with slight discolouration and roughness. Is there some polish or something I can apply to remove/repair the patch.

Here's a hint, don't buy any more furniture that is delicate and not washable with soap and water until your kids leave home.  I'm sorry to say this, but I have been through it.  Also pets will do the same thing.
