Hiyah guys this is my first post on this! I have always wanted to be a blonde (my natural colour is dark brown) i prelightenend my hair but it went ginger so i did it again and it went light ginger but almost fluresent(cnt spel it sorry!) so i gave up and went to the hair dressers and they bleached it for me. It went a yellowy white colour and then they put a toner on it. It was really scarey because my hair was coming out on the brush and i was like OMFG WHAT HAVE I DONE! they dried it and then straightened it. It doesnt even feel like proper hair anymore and looks like straw lol.

So my questions are :

1.) How to i get the yellow out of it

2.) How do i repair it

3.) Any tips on styling my hair without using heat?

Thank you!

  1. 1) dye it back to your natural color

    2) you cant really repair hair since its already dead, but you can make it look healthier. try these remedies

                    - apply a hair mask daily(its basically a deep conditioner thats really thick) theres different brands that sell these

                    - soak your hair in a mixture of olive oil,1 egg, and honey for as long as you can stand it, then rinse.

                    - dont use any heat appliances for awhile

    3) to style your hair without heat, just let it air dry then apply mousse which will give it extra volume, and finish it off with a anti-frizz serum

    good luck!

  2. get a blue rinse to tone it.

    it sounds so silly.

but it will work against the yellow

(actually depends on how yellow it is :/)

    repairing it ...

i used to completely cover my hair while it was dry in conditioner.

usually like a "colour repair" one.

sleep with it on over night and washed it in the morning.

and the styling with out heat... i don't know how you want to style it :/

    if you're wanting it straight.

towel dry your hair so it;s still damp not soaking!

and comb your hair every so often !

i find mine went straight doing that, although my hair takes ages to dry haha

  3. Whoa, you have a dilema.  Right now, just get your hair trimmed, do not dye it for six weeks!  But trim it as much as possible.

As far as repair give yourself weekly hot oil treatments with amla or brahmi oil even olive oil (http://www.naturallybeautifully.com).  And invest in a great deep conditioner.  Do not wash your hair daily, either!  The daily washing will strip your hair of what little moisture your hair has.

As far as styling goes, you may have to wear buns and ponytails for a while.

  4. I think that maybe you should just grow it out. Let your hair all grow + then when its at a certain length just cut it. So basically start from scratch =] wear your hair up to because it will help it grow faster + it wont be prone to damage =] + as for reparing...hot oils tend to help + get a good shamppo + conditioner to that will put moisture into your hair =].

I think that for styling scrunching hair with moose is cute =] + wear it up !

    x*x

  5. Wooow...

    o__o

    I'm sorry that happened.

The only way you can REALLY fix it permanently would be... Cutting it off.

On YouTube there's tutorials on how to style your hair without using heat.
