How to repair broke end of surfboard? please help?

i was surfing and broke the tail off my surfboard. about 8 inches from the back right above the center fin it snapped off. How do you fix this properly? because i know the tail gets alot of stress.

ask your surf questions in surfing!

don't s***w around, go to a surf shop and let the pros deal with it. if it's an old beat up board you may just wan't to save up money and get a new one.

because it's going to cost ya well over $100 to fix proporly.

That's a serious repair, and one that may be out of your league to fix. Take the board to a local shaper for an estimate. Expect it to cost over 200 bucks to repair. If you were considering repairing the board yourself, materials and tools alone will cost several hundred dollars, and the board still won't be right. You may want to retire your broken board and look for a new one. Sorry about your stick.
